#145 Cousins

I see these lovely people only once every two years now, 'cos we've to alternate our #ChineseNewYear between #Melaka and #Singapore. But nothing prepares you for the growth spurt you see when all you remember is them as little kiddos. Now I'm playing #chordaidee and #miniclip #pool with them. Not to mention #Chelsea v #ManchesterUnited on #Astro. 

#144 Handymen

Whether it is IT, household repairs, or everything in between, there's a special breed of men that somehow can solve these problems, sometimes by their sheer presence alone. Take a bow, Daniel, for rescuing my thumbdrive, and saving me a small fortune. Azhar and Leon are never far behind too. 

#143 A sacrificial wife

Jasmine keeps asking me to take Sarah out, but I know she really wants to do so as well. Instead, she recognizes that I can't quite handle Emma alone yet, so she lets me be the one to take Sarah out for now. Thank you, and Happy Valentine's. One day it'll just be us again. 

#142 Courses

Although there're many downsides to being on course - missing lessons, a lengthier commute, having to socialise etc, on the upside, you get the most pedestrian of breakfasts with no school bell compelling you to scoff your chow down. And if the destination requires you to walk, there's always the chance you'll happen upon a hole-in-the-wall cafe like this one, to satisfy that wanderlust of yours. 

#141 Facebook birthdays

The age of birthday cards seems to be winding to a close. In its place is Facebook's automatic reminders and posts on my wall for all to see. Still, there's always space there for special people to write their special notes. A quick screenshot and I've captured it for sentimental posterity. 

#140 Fake Christmas trees

I hate ants, so real Christmas trees just soundly cut it for me, hence this safer alternative.
