I was inspired by Neil Pasricha's excellent blog 1000 Awesome Things (1000awesomethings.com), but decided that a moment of gratitude a day would suffice for now. After all, the best way to be happier is to be more grateful for what you already have.

#63 Rain
On a hot (perpetual summer's), there's nothing like a tropical torrential downpour to wash the heat away. Unless I'm cycling, though, then it's not good. Love it, love it, love it.

#62 Groupons and their ilk
While most of their offers are for food, fashion and holidays, now and again something interests me. The offers are normally quite attractive and I've got decals, bag cleaning etc. Looking forward to more!

#61 In-laws
From the father-in-law who always avails his car when he's not working, to the mother-in-law who comes over on weekends to look after Sarah, to the sister-in-law who comes over whenever she's free to 'worship' Sarah - I'm so glad for the family I've gained.

#60 Generosity
Thank God for Michael. Yes, you could argue that he's merely bring excess stock to church, but the fact is it takes a lot of effort to bring it to church in the first place, and he could easily have held on to it for a last-minute sale. He's not the only one, though.
Many others have donated food and drink to Agape's hospitality ministry, sometimes to the extent that there's too much! God bless all of you.
